I was talking to Greg earlier, about eight or so I suppose, and he pointed out that if I'm serious about wanting to make a tent in time for Lilies, then I probably ought to try to finish the bookshelves in the next two or three days... probably by Wednesday night... so that I'll have all of Thursday and Friday afternoons, plus all day Saturday and Sunday, to make the tent. And do things like finish up garb, because I need to finish Greg's shirt (it needs trim and the sleeves fixed).

I also need to at least do the outside of his cloak. Sew the four pieces together.

If nothing else, I can wait to finish the lining of that later, and then he'll have reason to want to go to other events. :)

If eventually Greg and I go to St Louis, it makes me happy to know that we'd still be in Calontir. It's a nice thing to know that the friends I've been making in the SCA will still be the people I hang out with when I'm at events.

I hope so. It seems like a much more real place than what I've heard of most other kingdoms.

I just want to interject something briefly:

Dave Matthews is a hottie. Whether you're looking at a video nearly ten years old - he looks so young! - or you're looking at him hanging out with the Blue Man Group and he's doing the scruffy thing... He's hot.

No, Greg, that doesn't mean I'd rather have him than you. :P

I was wasting time that I could be using to read homework stuff or sleep by writing out a bunch of stuff I need to do in the next week (and Greg will be leaving to come here in a week... I can't wait and it's still so long, so far away) that I'll forget to look at and I'll be screwed...
